1. How can I reach you?

The best way to contact me is by e-mail. If you have a question that needs to be answered as soon as possible, contact the school at 909-971-8230.

2. How can I look at my child's grades?

You can look at your child's grades by going to Classes>Grades in this web site. You will need to have your child's last name and password in order to access his/her grades.

3. If I lost my child's password, can I still look at his/her grade?

No. In order to provide students their privacy, I must insist that you have a valid password to access their grades. If you have lost the password or can not remember it, just email me and I will provide you with a new one as soon as possible. If you want to provide your own password, you MUST contact me in person. Passwords must be between 6 and 10 characters long and can include letters and numbers only (sorry, no special symbols).

4. Is there any way I can change my child's password?

Yes. If you believe that your child's password has been compromised or you can not gain access to your child's grades, you may request a new password by contacting me. If you contact me over the phone (in person), you may request your own password. Passwords must be between 6 and 10 characters long and can include letters and numbers only (sorry, no special symbols).

5. Do you post homework on your web site?

Unfortunately, at this time, I do not post homework assignments on my web site. Although it would be useful to have homework assignments posted, it is not always possible for me to do so. In general, I assign homework on a daily basis and it is the student's responsibility to obtain each assignment.

6. Can I look at anyone else's grades?

The only way you can look at a student's grade is have their last name and password. If a student wants you to look at their grade and gives you their password, you can look at their grades without any restrictions. However, I will not give out a student's password, except to the student, the student's parents/guardians, and/or the administration.

7. Why do you have a Volleyball link?

I am the Girl's JV Volleyball coach. Prior to coming to San Dimas High School, I was John Marshall High School's Boy's Varsity Volleyball coach. I believe in supporting the students in all facets of learning including academic, athletic, and extra-curricular activities. Coaching is just one way that I like to give back to the students and the community.

8. Why haven't you responded to my e-mails?

Although I try to check my e-mails regularly, there are times that I am not able to check and respond to all my messages. Please be patient. I will try to respond to your e-mail as soon as I possibly can.

9. Should I help my child with his/her homework?

Generally, the homework that I assign is intended to be an opportunity for the students to independently practice skills that we learned in class. If you find that your child is struggling with the work, you may offer assistance to get him/her back on track. Please do not complete the assignment for your child or "give" your child the answers. Homework is an essential part of learning and understanding mathematics; and without the practice of homework, your child may have a very difficult time mastering the skills necessary to pass the class.
